Kids Clothes Week Summer - Day Three

When it comes to swimsuits I couldn't leave Big Brother out. He was in need of an additional pair of swim trunks since he has swim lessons every day right now. Ah! I love summer so much!!! I love swimming every day and soaking up that heat. I so belong in the south. :)

I made him the Peek A Boo Pattern Shop Surf's Up Board Shorts. Overall I like the pattern. It seems to be a little small. Big Brother needed one size bigger than he normally wears but other than that I liked it. The fabric for these came from The Fabric Fairy who, unfortunately is not on Mr. Rebates or eBates but the quality is excellent!!!
I love this kid and his funky pose! He seems to always get himself into this funky pose when I want to take pictures of him. :)

Kids Clothes Week Summer - Day Two

Of course, Kids Clothes Week coincides with Big Sister's dance camp. This means less time for me to spend sewing and more time spent driving her too and from camp. So, with limited time I took a short cut today. :)

I made her a new swimsuit top - that matches the bottom from yesterday's swimsuit. She wanted a Tiana dress swimsuit and this was what I cam up with. I'm not sure it is quite exactly Tiana but she is happy with it and for me that makes it perfect. Same pattern and fabric as yesterday.
I have to say I really do like this pattern. The baby has a Belle inspired swimsuit in this style as well and I am just very, very happy with it.
She insisted on bringing Baby Pegasus outside with us to take some pictures with him - in the tree, of course. I happen to love this shot. I love the thoughtful look she has going on and the way she is just chilling and hold her little friend.
So sweet!
